Dubai Esports Festival 2022

OVERVIEW

Minecraft Esports Tournament for students aged 8-11 (Years 4, 5, 6).

Become fearless Pirates and hunt treasure on a Pirate Island. Collect the most treasure to win!.

Using a version of the Creative Clash - Pirate Cove world on Minecraft Education Edition.

Qualifier matches will be played online before a live final @ DEF.

A chance for your students to be crowned MESC Champions for 2022!.

THE RULES

Teams of 4 students. You can register multiple teams from your class (but a student can only be in a single team). Play against other teams from schools across Dubai.

Open to schools located in Dubai. Matches will last 15 minutes. The team to collect the most treasure and take it back to their ship will be marked as the winner in each match.

You will be provided with the code to join the world for your match. Matches will start on Monday 24th October 2022. The Live Finals will be at the Dubai Esports Festival on Thursday 10th November 2022.

PIRATE COVE BREAKDOWN

Find the 24 locations on the island marked with an "X" and start digging for treasure!.

Find the treasure chest, open it and grab the loot.

Support your teammates in digging and protect them as they take the loot back to the ship.

Outwit your opposing team by working out the best treasure spots on the island.

Battle with skeletons and the opposing team to claim victory on the high seas!.
